In this day and age i cant see god/jesus condoning our treatment of animals or the earth we aren't being very good caretakers of paradise......Your first effort seems to be coming along OK. Because AOL has an attitude today, I didn't go through all the links.
As for the animal treatment, I suppose every farm and ranch has a different way of doing things. If they are killed swiftly and painlessly, and the staff knows what it's doing when handling the carcasses, then it's cool. However if they are allowed to suffer before they die, then I agree the procedures need to be changed an understatement that!
Now for a little witty food for thought: If this "global warming" theory is true, and it's also true that all sources of methane are contributing factors: then each slaughtered cow means a few less dangerous cow farts. Look on the bright side, that's what my dad taught me!
