Plants do not have and advanced nervous system and so to the best of my knowledge and biological education cannot feel pain as we know it. There is no need for pseudo-intellectual jargon in the justification so leave it. I get tired of people calling me extreme for not eating meat when it just is'nt . I'd love to know what you think of fruitinarians (?) . You say god put animals on the earth to be eaten , forgetting about ecology and biodiversity etc., Idont think your god intended animals to be factory farmed in such a creul manner with its mountain of problems such as being one of the top contributers to global warming due to methane emmissions and many more i'll leave out for fear of being labeled extemeist.
