Vegetarians don't die...

...or, at least that could be the impression you might get reading this site. So, if they have a decreased risk of cancer and of heart disease, what is it they die of in the end? A surfeit of righteous indignation? Increased chances of accidents in the home while under the belief that they are invulnerable?
Is there any evidence that vegetarians live longer?
