Missing the point

Thanks for the reply, but I'm afraid you missed the essence of my argument...namely that MAN has a responsibility to care for his environment.

Sure, Mother Nature has inflicted worse on the environment e.g. Mt St Helens eruption, but WE HAVE A CHOICE! It is an ethical question...should we use science to further the realms of human knowledge for the benefit, or to the detriment of all the planets' inhabitants? That was my point...sadly it appears that we lean far too heavily toward the latter view.

PS I will try to read the books you suggested if I can find a braille version...any suggestions?
