But they are nowhere near as specialised for meat-eating as
a carnivore's teeth. Perhaps humans teeth are in the process of evolving to the point where they will not be suited for meat-eating.

My country does not animal rights interest groups. As long as
the carnage continues on this planet, there obviously aren't
enough pressure groups.

There will always be someone telling you how to live - your government does exactly that. And yes, these are very emotive issues which will be taken up with enthusiasm. After all, the animals are unable to speak for themselves so I'm sure they would appreciate someone else doing that for them.

I am not Christian but I do feel that a man full of love and compassion ,as Jesus was, would definitely not inflict unnecessary pain and suffering on other living creatures. I firmly believe Jesus was vegetarian.

Yeah right - try and tell that to the animal as it is being butchered.

I reserve the right to express my opinion on these issues just as strongly as I feel you should be able to have your say. Hopefully the truth will out and we will all be the wiser.
