The initial goals of feminism (to rid our societies of gender prejudice) are admirable and have my full support. However, I feel that many people in the women's right's movements are becoming as prejudiced as men were/are. Put simply, we now have a growing number of FCP's (i.e. Female Chauvanist Pigs). Because of this, fifty years from now we will probably have a swing in the opposite direction again and so on, and so on.... It seems to me that these actions by SOME women (viz. denigrating and belittleing members of the opposite sex) are causing them to become more "equal" to SOME men than they would ever wish to be! Can't we adopt a more co-operative attitude and stop drawing the battle
lines? This only perpetuates sexism in our society.
