It is so great to hear someone say that. While I personally don't "harp" on people, I feel that my being vegetarian raises tons of questions from family, friends, and anyone else I might be dining with or engaged in a philisophical discussion with. From my studies I've come to believe that utilitarian individualism is running rampant in the USA, at least. People don't want to step on one another's toes. Don't speak too loud, don't stand up for what you believe. I'm personally sick of this individualism going to such an extreme. People expect me to respect other people's "privacy" despite the fact that it is fundamentally opposed to what I hold sacred. Thanks for speaking up.
