If you're not a vegetarian, why on Earth would you have a vegetarian doctor. Otherwise, how could you "always" hear 'veggie doctors,' which sounds like some sort of horticulturist, telling their patients lies? Why would a doctor lie to their patients? Maybe you've had a bad experience with someone who is vegetarian but I assure you that whatever feelings you have should be directed at individuals, not the entire vegetarian culture.

I suppose some thing like that is true, although I don't know where you got your info. That is exactly why more research needs to be done in the field of healthier ways to farm; it's possible to produce great amounts of food without raping the Earth of its nutrients. The problem is that the advancements in this field are not cheap.

I did an objective research project on the history of vegetarianism, which was first recorded in history simultaneously during the times of Pythagorus in Greece and Buddha in India thousands of years ago. Part of the research, which I did not find in any sort of animal rights literature, stated that those people with 'AB' bloodtypes are often more successful at vegetarianism than those with 'O' or 'A' or 'B'. The doctors who wrote the article went on to say that not only are humans morally able to distinguish themselves from the rest of the animal kingdom, but also, we are moving in that direction via our evolution. See, the 'AB' bloodtype is app. 800 years old, the newest by far. Also, research of civilizations which existed thousands of years BCE are demonstrating that these cultures lived on diets without meat. It is contradicting the claims that human men were traditionally hunters and women were gathers; both were gatherers and picker...of fruits and berries.

Derek:
Please don't say you don't give a damn. I mean, if you care about animals, all animals, it seems like you should feel sorry for people like this. I think that it's great to encourage people to see alternatives to carnivorous lifestyles instead of giving up on them.
