If they said "Look, this product tastes fantastic but it is full of additives and fat, may be a risk to health if you eat too many, and involves us killing lots of animals, destroying rainforest and creating mountains of unnecessary packaging", then that would be fair enough, people could make their choice based on the correct information. But they don't. They use their power and money (see above) to convince kids who don't understand anything about the issues to eat McDonalds and then they're hooked for life.
