While I respect anyones decision to be vegan, vegeterian, omnivorous, or carnivorous. While this has nothing to do with this debate or the problem of the Macdonalds corporation. I would like to adress the purported myth that apes and monkeys are these docile peace loving vegeterians. Chimpanzees are agressive territorial animals who exhibit cannabalism of their young and on apes who aren't apart of their peer group. I have seen horrifying footage of a mother chimp desperatly scrambling up trees trying to protect her infant from other members of her tribe. When she was caught she was viciously beaten and the baby was taken from her. The marauding group bashed the infant against a tree, crushed it's skull with in their teeth and then all consumed the baby chimp.
