Welcome to the "Market Garden" audio section. Currently there are several ways to play audio on your system.
***No real standard has been set yet, therefore we offer you the possibility to chose your own favorite.***
We support "Real Audio Format" (.ra), "Iwave format" (.vmf) and "Netscape Audio Player Format" (.au)
Each system has advantages but also disadvantages. "Real Audio" and "Iwave" formats offer fast acces but lower quality sounds.
"Netscape Audio Player" ,wich is integrated in your Netscape, offers high quality sound but this way it takes longer to acces the file.
An important advantage of the "Real Audio" and "Iwave" formats is that you can play the soundfile "realtime" while reading text or viewing pics.
It is most likely that one of these two will become standard in the near future. We just have to wait and see wich one. For now this is my advise:

***IF YOU PREFER LOW SOUND QUALITY AND FAST ACCES: CHOOSE "Real Audio" or "Iwave" format.***
****IF YOU LIKE THE SOUND YOU HEAR, LISTEN TO THE HIGH QUALITY VERSION WITH "Netscape Audio Player" AGAIN****
