Substitutes for natural teeth which have been lost because of injury or disease. Humans have been familiar with false teeth for a long time, as similar articles are said to have existed in the 4th or 5th century B.C. The photo shows a complete set of false teeth made for a person without any teeth at all. It was created drawing on the most advanced technologies of the '70s, and is extremely durable. One wonders, "Whom did these teeth belong to?" Actually, though, the set was made based on a model used in practical courses on introductory morphology at universities.
