Panasonic invites you to explore a century of athletic history in our Olympic Gallery. Highlights from Olympic Games greet you in fun filled facts, playful animations, photographs, and articles.
We present you with 23 Olympic Games in all. A scrolling list of posters allows entry into any Game from any screen within the site. Just click on the poster of the year you wish to enter.
Each Olympic Game is divided into five informative sections: Overview, Star/Hero, Times, A Peek Into..., and Statistics. These sections can be accessed by clicking on the corresponding icon located at the top of each page.
The Overview section provides highlights of each Olympic Game, giving an inside glance into the events that made each game unique.
The Star and Hero section focuses on two athletes. The "Stars" are selected for their exceptional athletic acheivement during the particular Game. The "Heroes" are chosen not only for their sporting success, but for having overcome a set of challenging circumstances in order to attain achievement.
The Times brings to life the era of each Olypmic Game from political figures to new inventions and world events .
A Peek Into... does just that. This section gives you a behind the scenes look at some of the athletes and events that come to shape the Games as we remember them.
Statistics offers details of the world records, participants, and medal counts for each Olympic Games.
