1.  The Olympics and the World Exposition
What kind of era was the 20th century, and what are the key words in exploring this question?  The city, politics, technology, media, sexuality, fashion, architecture, event...  The Olympics and World Expositions served as showcases for these things, and were perhaps the most representative events of the 20th century.

2.  The Myth and Aestheticism of New Bodies
In the great transition from the material to the immaterial, from the visible to the invisible, the viewpoint of regarding the times through objects or the body is being called into question.  How did the Olympics contribute to the worship of the body?

3.  Time Capsule
Where did our desire to package a whole era come from?  Matsushita Electric created time capsules at the 1970 World Exposition in Osaka.  They contained 2,098 items from the natural sciences, society, arts and other fields, and were buried in front of Osaka Castle, one to be opened every hundred years from the year 2000, and the other to be discovered in 5,000 years.

4.  The Framework of Human Consciousness
The values expressed currently on the Internet are those of homogeneity.  But space and time take on different densities depending on their meaning to different people.  What kind of potential can be tapped in the Internet Expo today?

5.  Towards the 21st Century
What will computer networks and communications technologies bring us?  If we were to sum up this century, what would we keep for coming generations?  With just five years left until the 21st century, Ito and Ueshima propose new values for the changing times.
