The Taiwan system was run by Chunghwa Telecommunications, the largest telephone and Internet company in Taiwan. Chunghwa administered a large Sparcserver system, and also helped coordinate the Internet Railroad links to Japan, as well as providing a great number of lower-speed national lines for linking public viewing spots to the world's fair. |
