The Expo Screen Saver

We've designed a little screen saver for your Macintosh and Windows computers. The screensaver was designed by Becknell and Lucas Media with a visual motif taken from the Molas of San Blas de Cuna. The soundtrack are techno puppet sounds.

We know that a computer that talks when you're out of the room may not be the most endearing thing to your coworkers. On the other hand, we assume you have lots of screen savers, which you downloaded from the various archives on the net. Since almost all of the screensavers we've seen consist of gripping visual images liking flying toast, we figured you might want one with a bit of music.

To install the screensaver, follow these instructions:

  • On a Macintosh, you need to reexecute the setup program. It will scan your system and recommend what to install. Since you already have a browser, Quicktime, and the other pieces, the installation routine should recommend only the screensaver be installed. Click here to start the process.

  • On a Windows system, there is a separate installation routine. This will copy the screensaver into your Windows directory and will put a .scr file next to it. To deinstall the screensaver, go to your Windows directory, and delete the files called Techno~2.exe and Techno~2.scr. Click here to start the process.
