NAME
tiff2fbm - convert image format
SYNOPSIS
tiff2fbm [ -<num> ] image.tif > image.fbm
DESCRIPTION
Converts TIFF (tagged interchange format file) images to FBM format.
Handles RGB color, mapped color, greyscale and 1bit files.
OPTIONS
- -<num>
-
directory number,
specifies which directory to read in a multi-part TIFF file.
REQUIRED PACKAGES
You must have the libtiff.a program library to compile
and run tiff2fbm. This package is available by anonymous FTP
from
Host: nl.cs.cmu.edu
Directory: /usr/mlm/ftp/
File: tiff.tar.Z
Transfer type: image (binary)
The package is/was also available from Berkeley by anonymous FTP.

BUGS
Should be usable as a filter, but that would require modification of the
TIFF library, which I am unwilling to do right now.
