SETEBOS - MOON OF URANUS

Setebos (S/1999 U1), the 19th satellite of Uranus, is named after the character in Shakespeare's play The Tempest who enslaves Ariel. Very little is known about Setebos. A small moon, it as an estimated 30 kilometres in diameter.

Setebos orbits Uranus at an average distance of 1.7 million kilometres in a very elliptical and highly inclined retrograde orbit - opposite to that of Uranus itself and the planet's larger moons. It is very likely a captured asteroid.

Magnetic field
No magnetic field has been detected.

Atmosphere
