Video Preferences
General
If you want other users to be able to see your video automatically every time
you place a call, click on the checkbox in this section. A checkmark means that
you will automatically send video.
Video Encoding
Use the sliders in this section to adjust the size and speed of the video that
you send. In general, small, fast video settings will use a smaller amount of
bandwidth when transmitting, while large, high-quality video settings will use
a larger amount. Each computer and network connection has different
capabilities, so you should experiment with different settings to find out which one is
best for you. As a guideline, the slower your computer and network connection
are, the farther to the left the sliders should be.
Video Capture Device
If you have more than one video capture device installed in your computer, you
can choose which one CU-SeeMe Pro will use by selecting it from the drop-down
menu in this section.
The Format, Source, and Display buttons behave differently depending on the video card you are using. Use
these buttons to adjust the operation of your video capture card. For details on
what the settings mean, consult the manual that came with your video capture
card.
