To connect to the server to prepare for file transfer, do the following:

If you are using the previous settings for connections, you do not need to configure the file transfer settings. Proceed to step 5. You can also use the profile configured in Link Browser. |

A profile contains file transfer information, such as the transfer destination. To create a new profile, click on [New Profile]. Or you can select an existing profile from the [Registered Profile] list box. You can also delete any unnecessary profile by selecting it from the list box and clicking on [Delete Profile]. |

To specify a remote directory to display when a connection is established, select [Specified Directory] from the [Initial Remote Directory] box in the "Options" dialog, and enter either the relative path to the login directory or the absolute path on the WWW server. For example, to transfer a file to a directory called news under public_html in the login directory, the relative path would be public_html/news. If you select [Default] from the [Initial Remote Directory] box, the login directory will be shown when a connection is established. If you select [Last Directory Used], the directory used in the last connection will be shown. |
