Script Wizard

You can enter and edit mathematical formulas as easily as editing ordinary text. You can choose between Script and Visual editing modes. The Equation Editor uses standard TeX and LaTeX grammar. MathML is also supported.
WebEditor 3.0's improved publishing facilities make use of an FTP interface similar to the popular FTP client, WS_FTP. You can now delete files from the web server or change file permissions using the chmod command.
Using Unicode, you can create a multilingual web site. With Microsoft Global IME and Language Pack support, you can create web pages with multiple 2-byte character systems such as Chinese, Japanese and Korean in the same document using any international version of Microsoft Windows (95/98/NT).
Namo WebEditor converts Microsoft Word (from 6.0 to 97 version) document files to HTML format. Note that the appearance of the document may change considerably after importing.

Microsoft SourceSafe is version control software that allows multiple
users to work on a project while avoiding file collisions and keeping users
updated on file status. WebEditor 3.0's Microsoft SourceSafe support makes group Web site work safe and convenient.
WebEditor 3.0 now copies HTML tags along with content when you use the clipboard. You can import and export content to/from other applications through the clipboard, maintaining the content's original appearance. Note that this functionality does not work with Netscape Navigator 4.5 or older.
Namo WebEditor now support use of wheel mice for scrolling in the edit environment. <Ctrl+Wheel> zooms in/out. <Shift+Wheel> brings documents to the front just like clicking their tabs.
The new Zoom function is very useful for getting a larger or smaller view of your document while you edit. Magnification ranges from 45% to 500%. You can use a mouse wheel to zoom in and out with the <Ctrl> key pressed.
The pixel-level ruler in [Tool Set] in the [View] menu makes resizing
tables and images easier. The ruler also allows you to modify the indentation
of the current paragraph.
By selecting the [Tool Windows]-[Document Outline] command in the [View] menu, you can see the overall structure of document you are editing. Paragraphs with styles Heading1 through Heading6 and Bulleted/Numbered lists indented by three steps are displayed in the document outline. By clicking one an item in the outline, you can move immediately to the position of that item in the document. If you adjust the title in the document, it will be changed automatically in the document outline.
Right-click in the Outline window and select [Make TOC] from the contextual menu to create a table of contents at the top of the current document.The TOC will reflect the contents of the document outline. Hyperlinks to the actual items in the document can be created automatically.
For improved printing, Namo WebEditor 3.0 provides the Page Break function specified by CSS2. The Protect Widow/Orphan function has also been added.
When you inserting
a Macromedia Flash 3 file, the source will be preserved untouched.
If
a document is modified by external software such as the DOS shell, WebEditor
3.0 recognizes the change and updates the document.
Namo GIF Animator and Namo Screen Capture are now included to make your life easier.
Namo WebEditor 3.0 uses Multiple Document Interface display mode, providing a more user-friendly interface.
After creating a table, you can add, delete, split, and merge
cells with consummate ease using the new pencil and eraser tools.
Tables no longer shake when you type in a cell.
By pressing <Shift+Esc> you can move the insertion position
to the left or right of the table. With the insertion position
there, pressing <Delete> or <Backspace> will delete the
table.You can also delete the table with the <Delete> key after
selecting the Select [Table] command in the [Table] menu.
Using the [Remove Width/Height Attribute] command in the [Table] menu, you can remove the width and height value of <td> tag at any time. The [Fix Current Size] command specifies the width value of all the cells in the table.
With the [Border] command in the [Table] menu, you can change the thickness of the table border easily by applying one of the following options: Thin, Thick, and Hide Border.
Namo WebEditor 3.0 analyzes your usage patterns and automatically adjusts the number of steps in Undo and Redo actions to best fit your working style.
By displaying font names in the actual fonts on the Ribbon toolbar,
Namo WebEditor 3.0 helps you select the font you want quickly. Note that
this features slows down the first drawing of the font menu as the fonts
are read from your hard disk, but subsequent drawings are immediate because
the font information is cached in memory.
Microsoft Internet Explorer aligns 2-byte languages by character but aligns English by word. Netscape Navigator, on the other hand, aligns all languages by word. When you select the [DBCS Align] option in the [View-Mark Set] menu, WebEditor 3.0 aligns paragraphs the same way Internet Explorer does.
By selecting [ActiveX Control] in the [Advanced] command in the
[Insert] menu, you can see the name of the ActiveX Control being installed
on your system, and insert its control properties along with the control
itself.
You can create a hyperlink easily by copying (Ctrl+C) the URL in a web browser and pasting (Ctrl+V) it into the WebEditor edit window. You can also drag an image from your web browser to the WebEditor edit window to insert the image into your document.
