The General properties page provides options to configure the paths, and other basic information for the system.
In general these settings would not need to be changed, although you might require to assign the paths to a larger drive, if this is a large system.
The paths should be on the local machine and available to the Server at boot-up.

Detect hack attempts
|
Checking this box enables the Automatic hack detection system within the Server.
This option will monitor for unusual activity that may indicate your system is under attack. The IP address would be noted and automatically added to the exclusion list – blocking the sender from using the servers in FTGate. |

Maximum concurrent sessions |
This is the maximum number of concurrent incoming connections permitted from any one IP address. This can be used to prevent any single connection from using up available bandwidth on the network or Internet connection. |
