Remove ChatBlocker From Add/Remove Control Panel

If you installed ChatBlocker with an UnInstaller (during the ChatBlocker setup process), and you want to remove the entry for ChatBlocker in the "Add/Remove Programs" list inside the Windows Control Panel, you can follow these few simple steps to remove ChatBlocker the list completely.

Preface

Open up ChatBlocker, and click the "Preferences and Settings" button on the main ChatBlocker interface (third icon from the left at the top of the window). Next, click "Remove ChatBlocker From Add/Remove Programs List" again wait for the window to appear.

What To Do...

At this point you have two options. You can perform the manual method, or you can choose the advanced (easier) method. Both are described below...

General Removal

By using this method, you will have to manually type in the ChatBlocker Add/Remove Programs List entry yourself into the "Install Name" field. When doing this, you must make sure it is typed in EXACTLY as it appears in the Add/Remove Programs list. Once ready, you can click the "Remove" button to have ChatBlocker removed from the list.

Advanced Removal

This method is the easier of the two. Under this tab, click the "Browse for uninstal.log" button, and browse the the directory where your ChatBlocker files reside. In this directory, you will find a file named "uninstal.log". Select this file, and follow the instructions to have ChatBlocker removed from the Add/Remove Programs List.
