While writing data to the CD, one of the following conditions occurred:
the end of the CD was detected
the track limit of 99 was reached
the optimum power calibration area was full
the program memory area was full
The optimum calibration area is a special area near the center of the recordable CD. Before writing a track on a CD, the CD-Recorder must adjust the amount of power applied to the writing laser for the optimum level for the mounted CD. The optimum calibration area is reserved for this purpose. If this area becomes full, the CD-Recorder can't write to the CD.
The program memory area functions as a "scratch pad" near the center of the writable CD where the CD-Recorder keeps a temporary copy of the starting address of each track it writes on the CD. Later, when the CD is fixated, the CD-Recorder can use this information to build a table of contents for the session.
Use a new CD.
