NOTE: Open this document with Win98's Internet Explorer 4.0 *NOT NETSCAPE*

Explanation (Read First)
I Discovered this when I was playing around with Win98's html files. You can actually change the blue thing in the top-left corner if you have Explorer viewed as web page.

First off, If you dont have your Explorer viewed as web page, Do so by selecting the view menu, and then click on "As web page".

If you have Paint Shop Pro, or Adobe Photoshop, then you can Easily create a New image for the top corner. But if you dont, then you can use one of the images that I gave you. Please note that these are Bitmap (.bmp) files and not the usuall .JPG or .GIF. I don't know why it is like that, but it just is.

Im no JAVA, or Active X expert, So -I- wouldn't mess around with the html encoding. But if you think you are, than you can do so by Right clicking on the left frame of the folder of your choice, then select "Customize this folder". In there somewhere, you can probably change it so that it looks for A ".gif" file, rather than a ".bmp" file.

Instructions

Ok, we now know the basics, now how to use the Images. If you want to backup your origanal one, now is the time to do it (ctrl c, ctrl v)- Usually the directory of this image is C:/WINDOWS/web/ The image's icon is usually faded. If you can't see it at all. Click the View menu, select "Folder options", Then select the "View" tab at the top. In the list of options there will be a section that looks something Like this:

You probably had "Do not show Hidden or System files" Checked off. Just select "Show all files", Like in The image Above.

Once you can see all of the files, Replace the Old Image with your own. If you dont have Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop, or if your too lazy to make your own Images, Then you can use the ones I gave You.
