Document Navigation
Scrollbar at right
Smoothy takes a minimalist approach to on-screen controls in the document form. There is a scrollbar for positioning text, a slider for controlling continuous-scroll speed, and a target button for requesting the multi-function control panel form. These screen images show the Document form with the scrollbar located at the right and left.
Scrollbar at left

Relocate the scrollbar by tapping the target button to pop-up the Control Panel dialog.

Start continuous scrolling by tapping the title bar . The title bar will reverse. Stop continuous scrolling by tapping anywhere. The title bar will revert back to its initial black background.
Change continuous scroll speed by dragging the slider with the pen (the slider can also be moved with hard keys, see below). Tap the scrollbar arrows to scroll a small amount. Tap the scrollbar gray area to scroll a single screen. Drag the scrollbar car to position anywhere in the document.

The hard scroll keys support two functions depending upon whether or not you are continuous scrolling. If continuous scrolling, hard scroll keys change scroll speed. If not continuous scrolling, hard scroll keys scroll a single screen forward or backward. The other hard keys can also be used for navigation if enabled (see Preferences ). Hard key 4 cycles to the next font. Hard key 3 starts and stops continuous scrolling. Hard keys 1 and 2 search backward and forward, respectively. They search for the selected text, if there is a selection. If not, they search for the text last searched for.
