CORRECT OPERATION

Air conditioning systems generally produce a cold air discharge of roughly 35-45° F. when in full cold position. This can be checked with an ordinary thermometer held in the center vent's air stream for a few minutes. The air discharge should be at this temperature unless the outside air temperature is extremely high, over approximately 90° F.
