The Table

On each page of your invoice/quotation is a table which you can configure in the layout designer.

Doubleclick the table to bring it into the edit mode. The edit mode will show you the table how it will be printed on paper (or exported to PDF).

Note

The data in the table is only to demonstrate you how it will be looked like when you print the invoice. The content itself is not the same as you will the later on the invoice.

Set Titles of Columnheaders

you will see an inspector when ever the table is in edit mode. The first text field in the inspector displays the header title of the actual active column. Change the entry and press enter to set the new entered text as header title.

Set Data Alignment for Columns

Below the title entry in the inspector your will see three button to align the content of the active column. Click the buttons to set column data alignment.

Add/Remove/Reposition Columns

Control-click (right mouseclick) the table header to display a context menu with a column list. Here you can set the visibility of the columns. If you want to dislay a column, the column will be added to the most right on the table.

To reposition the columns just grab the column header with the mouse and drag it to the desired position.

Change Backgroundcolor and Gridcolor

You will see two buttons (colorwells) on the inspector to change the table background and the grid color. Click a button and change the color on the displayed color dialog. The changes will be shown immediatly on the table.

Change Fonts and Color for Columns

As mentioned earlier in Set Titles of Columnheaders you must select a column to make it the active column. You can edit one column at a time. The title of the column will be display on the inspector.

Click on the column you want to edit and press immediatly Apple-T or choose the font dialog from the menu. Now you can change font and color of the active column.

Note

It is important that there are no other clicks between selecting the active column and opening the font dialog. If you select another object or control on the same window, the active column will loose the responds from the font dialog.
