Show running applications in a dock
To show the currently running applications in a special dock, check this box.
Double-click an item in the Process Dock to bring it to the front.
Include background-only applications
To include background-only applications in the Process Dock, check this box.
To quit a background-only application, you can drag it to the Trash or select it and choose Clear from the Edit menu.
Sort by
To sort the items in the Process Dock in a certain order, choose one from this popup control.
Launch time
Sorts the Process Dock by the order in which the applications were launched.
Name
Sorts the Process Dock alphabetically by application name.
Kind
Sorts the Process Dock into applications and background-only applications, with the Finder at the beginning.
Most Recently Used
Sorts the Process Dock such that recent frontmost applications are at the beginning.
Reverse sorting order
To reverse the order of the items in the Process Dock, check this box.
Confirm quitting applications
To display the confirmation alert when quitting an application from the Process Dock, check this box.
You can quit an application quickly by clicking on it and pressing Delete.
Highlight running applications in other docks
To indicate which applications are running in other docks as well as the Process Dock, check this box.
Hide other applications when switching
To hide all other applications when you switch to a particular application, check this box.
Bring all windows to the front when switching
To cause all windows of an application to be brought to the front when you switch to it, check this box.
This option is only available on Mac OS X.
Include the Trash at the end of the dock
To include an item at the end of the Process Dock that represents the Trash, check this box.
Do not include these applications
To stop the applications listed below from appearing in the Process Dock, check this box.
You can drag applications into the list to add them, or use the Add and Remove buttons.
