Interface Enhancements 

Dock Manager 1.8 has numerous feature and user interface enhancements, some of which are listed below.

Compliance with Mac OS 8 interface guidelines for control panels.

    Added menu commands for cut, copy, and paste.
    Changed the information in the "About" window.
    Added a help button and HTML help.
    Made contextual menu commands available in the menu bar.
    Added a "Conflict Catcher resource" so when you select Dock Manager in the Extensions Manager or Conflict Catcher it will give a description of what Dock Manager does.

Other interface improvements

    Added a notice telling people that the activated Sherlock search set would be available on the next launch of Sherlock.
    Added the name of the active search set to the Sherlock tab.
    Made numerous improvements making Dock Manager more intuitive and easier to use.
    Added a warning dialog when the user reverts to the default settings.
    Reworked the Sherlock plugin managing windows (again), making it extremely easy to understand and use.
    Added numerous menu commands.
    Changed the "show names" radio button into a slider for more precise user control.
    Made Dock Manager inactive when in the background.
    Removed the "Activity" progress bar.
