File - New

Opens an assistant that helps you create a new collage. You have options to specify size, format and number of pages.

Prints the collage. Internally the collage is
exported first, then printed. The entire process can last for a few minutes, depending on system configuration.

Unregistered software will export only 1 megapixel. Accordingly, quality of the printout can be limited. After registration this limitation is cancelled.

Edit - Undo

Undo last action. There is no limit for the number of undo steps.

Edit - Redo

Redoes the last action
undone.

Edit - Delete

Deletes selected images from the collage.

Edit - Select All

Selects all images, including the ones that are not positioned within the export area.

Edit - One Level Back

Affects the Z-Order. Moves selected images one level back.

Edit - One Level Front

Affects the Z-Order. Moves selected images one level front.

Edit - To Background

Affects the Z-Order. Moves selected images to the very background.

Edit - To Foreground

Affects the Z-Order. Moves selected images to the very foreground.

Edit - Exchange Z-Order

Exchanges Z-Order of 2 images.
This feature is only available, when exactly 2 images are selected.

Edit - No Rotation

Rotation of selected images is set to zero degrees.
This function can change relative position of images in a group. In order to keep integrity of the group, use the
mouse.

Edit - No Crop

Uncrops all selected images.

Edit - 50%

Size of selected images is set to 50% of the standard size. Standard size is the one used when dropping images into a collage.

mouse.

Edit - Exchange Position


Edit - Rotate By 90 Degrees counter-clockwise

Rotates selected images by 90 degrees counter-clockwise. Example: Current rotation is 10 degrees. After function call, rotation is 10+90=100 degrees.

Edit - Image Info

Shows information about the selected image. You can also change size of the image here.

View - Zoom In

This function is available as follows: The visible part of the working area is increased. The current position of the mouse is relevant. Put the mouse to the center, where yu want to zoom, then perform the function. Best handling when using the mouse wheel.

This feature does not change the collage. Only the visible view is changed.

Shows the entire work and area. Export area and all images are visible.

Collage - Properties

Use this feature to adjust properties of the collage.
Export Area Of The Collage Position and size of the export area. This area actually defines the outline of the collage. The woking area (around export area) can be used as temporary workspace for images where it's not clear yet whether and how to use them.
Unit is mm.
An aspect ratio of 2:3 is nice. With this value you will have lesser problem with imaging services.
Export size of the collage: Image and Print Defined in X pixels. Y is calculated automatically (via aspect ratio).
Export size of the collage: Email Defined in X pixels. Y is calculated automatically (via aspect ratio).
Export size of the collage: Desktop wallpaper Defined in X pixels. Y is calculated automatically (via aspect ratio).
Background Background color of the collage.
Number of pages Number of pages of the collage. Number of columns Number of columns to place the pages on the work area. Raster distance Raster distance is used to determine distance between pages on the work area.

You have these possibilities: If you add more than one image simultaneously, they will be arranged in a raster.

Collage - Add Text To Collage

Inserts a new text to the collage. Use doubleclick to edit the text.

Collage - Export As Image

Exports the collage as image. You can select the following output formats: JPEG, TIFF, BMP Resolution can be adjusted in
Properties.

Collage - Export As Desktop Wallpaper

Exports the collage as desktop wallpaper. Exportiert die Collage als Hintergrundbild. The output size is adjusted in the properties. Size Y=0 means full screen size.

Collage - Fit To Page...

The selected images are fit to a page. First the selection is resized to fit into a page. Then the selected images are moved and centered to the page. If no image is selected, the entire set of images is used. Before taking action, the software presents a dialog with options.

Collage - Autoarrange...

This feature arranges selected or all images in a raster. The algorithm tries to minimize movement of each image. You can select whether only selection or all images are rearranged. You can adjust the number of columns.

Apply this function mainly to images with same size and format.

This feature arranges all images on the pages of the collage.

This feature arranges all images on the pages of the collage. Images are arranged in
Z-Order on the pages of the collage. You can modify order of images by changing the Z-Order. Text auf der Collage wird nicht angeordnet.

Tools - Move Collage


Tools - Crop

This feature is available, when exactly one image is selected.

Use this feature to crop an image. On each sides of the image a black handle appears. You can drag the handles, image border will follow.


Tools - Magnetic Borders

With this option you can switch between normal and magnetic borders. When borders are magnetic and moving images with the mouse, images align to each other when they come near. This feature is quite useful when the collage should have a raster-like layout.

Tools - Grid

Defines whether to use a grid. The grid consists of grid points in regular distances. If you move an image, the left upper edge will be aligned to the next grid point. This functionality helps to align images along vertical or horizontal axis.

Tools - Grid Settings...

Opens a dialog to adhust the grid settings. You can choose the horizontal and vertical distance of the grid points. You can also choose, whether the grid points should be visible. The settings are individual for each collage and are persistent together with the collage.

Tools - Options...

Here you can adjust options for image import The only parameter is the size of the short side. The bigger the value the bigger the image appears in the collage. You can change the size of the image also
later.

Rotate Images

This feature is only available via mouse. If you perform this function for more than one image, the relative position and size of images to each other will remain unchanged.

Resize Images

This feature is only available via mouse. If you perform this function for more than one image, the relative position and size of images to each other will remain unchanged.

Select Images

This feature is only available via mouse.

Z-Order

Z-Order is the placement of images on the Z axis. The Z axis points into the screen. The Z order os visible, when images overlap. An image that is placed nearer to the viewer overlaps the other image.

The feature to arrange images on pages is using the Z-Order You can change the Z-Order.
