Use the Devices tab to do the following:
Note that to use Windows Media Player to copy files from your computer to a portable device, such as a Pocket PC or Windows Powered Smartphone, you must install Microsoft ActiveSync® on your computer. For more information about ActiveSync requirements, see the documentation that came with your portable device.
The following options are listed on the Devices tab:
Lists all the installed CD-ROM drives, CD-ROM recorders, storage card drives, portable devices, and storage cards that are attached to your computer. Click a device you want to change the properties of, and then click Properties.
Click to open a Web page that lists information about the types of portable devices that you can transfer files to by using Windows Media Player. The Web page may also include a link to add a driver for a specific device.
Click to update the list of devices.
Click to change the playback and copy settings for the selected CD-ROM or CD-R drive or to change the sound quality of digital music files copied to the selected portable device. For portable devices, click the Details button to view a Web page that lists information about the types of portable devices to which you can transfer files.
