From the "What's Your Function" department, Lockergnomie Eileen Kenneda has a killer tip for Microsoft Word 2000 users. It pertains to function key usage (ya know, the ones at the top of your keyboard which all begin with the letter 'F'). Depending on what you're doing in Word, the function key's role may change. By turning on the 'Function Key' toolbar, you'll see a straightforward map of those darn 'F' keys. Their functions will change on-the-fly as you press CTRL, SHIFT, or ALT (or any key combination). From the menu, select 'View,' 'Toolbars,' then 'Customize.' You should see a "Function Key Display" option; place a checkmark in its box. It's a non-dysfunctional function!
