Whatever e-mail manager you choose to use, it probably has a 'Sent Items' folder within it. Every message you send can be copied there automatically for future perusal. Didn't know about this before now? Check to see what's sitting in there, if anything. In Outlook, you can toggle this 'storage' function in the Options dialog. So, why keep it turned on? When the recipients of your messages don't respond in a timely fashion, you can resend the original copy in a flash. Or, if you need to keep a valid record of what is being mailed from your account, this feature will work well. Be warned, ye heavy mailers: your database can become bloated quickly. Compact it at least once a week if you send more than your fair share of e-mails. How? Consult your mail program's help file to see if it even needs to be done (Outlook Express users will find the 'Clean Up Now' button in the Option dialog's Maintenance tab).
