You use e-mail. How else would you be reading this (unless you're reading this on a web page, in which case, you might not have e-mail). Let's assume, however, that you have e-mail. What font are you using to read and write to others? I'd strongly suggest using a fixed-width font over a proportional one. You know, like Courier New or Lucida Console? At least give it a shot--you have nothing to lose. I couldn't have it any other way--for formatting, typing, and reading. If you don't like it, you can always switch back.
