Some of you Windows 95 users feel left out because some of my tips are dependent on either Internet Explorer 4.x or Windows 98. Sorry, I can't please every one of you. However, understand that I don't have a bias in this respect. A cool tip is a cool tip. For instance, if you're going to be away from your computer for a long while, instead of leaving the monitor on, shut it off--it'll save power! Keep a garbage can close to your desk so that you don't have to get up to throw something away. It's also handy to have Kleenexes an arm's length away--ACHOO! If you're in a place where natural light can shine through, open the window shade--your body needs the sun. Make sure your area is well lit, too; eye strain isn't a good thing. How many CD-ROMs do you have lying around that you never use? Donate them to a local charity or club. Okay, so that's not really a tip, but it doesn't hurt to give.
