What's new in Version 1.5?
Version 1.5 contains primarily fixes and optimizations "behind-the-scenes", based on feedback we've received from the more than one million installations since we first released MemTurbo. Most of these are not visible changes, but will increase MemTurbo's speed, reliability, and on some machines, its ability to reclaim memory.
New Features
We have added a few new features. You'll notice that the tray icon
now visually represents when the memory has dropped below your alarm level (a
red exclamation point appears over the RAM chip icon). They tray icon's
tooltip (which you can see if you hold your mouse over the tray icon) now tells
you how long is remaining until the next auto-recovery. This is only
applicable, of course, if you've set the autorecovery timer in the options.
MemTurbo also sports an optional new recovery/defrag progress dialog that is, shall we say, more subdued than the giant on-screen bars. The bars are still the default, but you can turn it off (giving you the simpler progress dialog) in the options.
If you have a suggestion for a feature for future versions, be sure to drop a note to support@memturbo.com and let us know!
