Simulates deleting all files/folders in the Window directory or whatever directory is passed via the command line. Fake Delete uses all the standard Windows delete dialogs. This program looks very real, you are unable to detect or stop. The custom delete file display list is generated by scanning the users directory and actually displays the files. If a directory is passed on the command line then that directory is the directory which is deleted, otherwise by default, the Windows directory is deleted.

Usage

Command Line

Common Usages:

Change a user's shortcut from a commonly used application to Fake Delete. Example
Use WinStartup (live link) to setup that Fake Delete execute every time the computer is turned on
Use Program Launcher (live link) to launch Fake Delete every 10 seconds
Run the program while the user is away from the computer
Rename the file to "clickme.exe", so that a curious person will run the program
Send the program to someone via email (be sure to follow up the email with this document)

Command Line:

To use the command line options do this
- Sepcify the directory which is deleted - add the directory name after command line
- Example: C:\JOKES\FAKEDEL.EXE C:\DOS (would delete the DOS directory)
By Default, if NO command line option are specified, the program deletes Windows.

How Do I:

Create a Windows shortcut?
- Right-click on the program you want to create a shortcut for
- Select 'Create Shortcut' from the popup menu
- This will create a shortcut to the program at the same directory level. (See below for editing a shortcut)
Edit a shortcut?
- Select/Highlight a Windows shortcut
- Right-click on the shortcut
- Select 'Properties' from the popup menu
- Click on the 'Shortcut' tab
- Modify the 'Target' field with the drive letter and path to this program name. (Ex. C:\JOKES\{program name}.EXE )
Edit/Add command line options?
- Same as above except...
- Modify the end of the 'Target' field and add your command line options

Features:

Un-detectable with Task Bar
Invisible to the CTRL-ALT-DEL (Task Manager)
Virtually unstoppable (ALT-F4, CTRL-Break, won't work)
