Using the Internet with your laptop
It's easy to take the Web with you when you don't have an Internet connection. You can make pages available for offline viewing - to catch up while you are on an airplane, for example. When you save a Web page to your Favorites list, all you have to do is select the check box to make the item available offline. To make sure you have the latest information on your offline pages, use the Synchronize command on the Tools menu in the browser. You can also set a schedule to synchronize your offline favorites automatically. Internet Explorer determines whether you are connected to the Internet and will offer to connect you or let you work offline. When you choose to work offline, you can just click the pages in your Favorites list that you want to view. Internet Explorer will then display the most recently synchronized version of a page from your hard disk.
