The environmental
mission for Minolta is to deliver products
and services to the market with the utmost in consideration
for the environment. |
ENVIRONMENTAL VISION |
Minolta´s
environmental vision is to minimize environmental
impacts throughout all phases of product life including manufacture,
distribution, transport, use, return, reuse and final disposal. |
ENVIRONMENTAL TASKS |
Compliance and
Reporting
The collection, analysis and transfer of environmental data and
information is required to carefully watch how environmental
issues develop in the market. All important changes have to be
reported immediately and taken into consideration for future product
design. Compliance with federal, country and local environmental
laws and regulations is mandatory. |
PRODUCT PLANNING |
Environmental
compatible products for all our markets require
initiative for definition and feedback to R & D. It is the duty of
Product Planning, in close cooperation with engineering, to practice
"foresight" in the planning and manufacturing of future products.
Herewith we do not only ensure compliancy but strive beyond
the current standards. Given an efficient compliance and reporting
system, Product Planning will ensure a strong focus on environmental
issues. |
MANUFACTURING |
The aim is to produce
optimal products in Europe while reducing
industrial waste, enacting appropriate disposal methods, minimizing
energy consumption, using less raw materials, promoting recycling
in order to protect the environment. |
PROCUREMENT |
We and all parties
involved with our business should follow identical
and accepted international environment standards. |
STRATEGIC MARKETING |
Environmental
arguments have to be promoted by prompt and
adequate decision making. All parties concerned must be supplied
with all necessary information.
Environmental Activities with Federal and Municipal Authorities
Environmental awareness and protection can be increased by
supporting educational initiatives and creating social responsibility. |
PRODUCTS AND SERVICES |
Products and services
provided must be environmentally safe
enabling easy recycling and reuse. |
REVIEW OF
ENVIRONMENTAL ACTIVITIES |
Environmental
activities have to be continuously evaluated in order
to obtain best results in respect to higher environmental targets. |

The environment must
become an integral part of our daily work.
To underline and transmit Minolta´s environmental commitment,
it is essential that all Minolta representatives are trained to develop
