You may feel that some of your photos are too dark or too bright, here you can adjust Brightness, Contrast and Gamma of an image.
In PhotoEdit interface, move your mouse cursor onto the First button on Task Bar, and click on the pop-up sub-task bar. Then some templates appear on Operation Panel.
On the left is the Basic mode. You can see ten templates here. Click to select a template which pleases you, then click to apply the effect to current image.
If you are not satisfied with any of the templates and decide to set parameters on Brightness, Contrast and Gamma by yourself, Click to shift to Advanced mode.
On the right is the Advanced mode. Here you can see three small wheels . You can use your mouse to roll the wheels.
The first wheel is for Brightness Adjustment. Roll it towards left to make the image darker, towards right to make the image brighter.
The second wheel is for Contrast Adjustment. Roll it towards left to decrease contrast, towards right to increase contrase.
The Third wheel is for Gamma Adjustment. Roll it towards left to decrease gamma, towards right to increase gamma.
When you are satisfied with the image after adjustment, click to apply the effect to current image, otherwise click to reload the original version of the image. To go back to Basic mode, click .
