This dialog box appears when you click Edit Filter in the Signature Fields dialog box. Use the Edit Filter dialog box to specify filter parameters for an activity signature field.
Signature Displays the name of the signature you are editing.
Field Displays the name of the field you are editing.
Apply a Filter to this Field Check this box to define the filter value for this field. The value field becomes available.
Value Enter the filter value. (Click here for more information.)
Object Name Enter the name of the object you want to detect. You can use wildcards to indicate any file or directory. (For example, to detect access to any .exe file, enter *:\\*.exe in this field.) This is available for General Object Browsing and General Virus/Trojan Horse activities.
User Name Enter the name of the user (for example, heim). You can enter up to 1,024 characters and this field is case-sensitive. To enter multiple values, separate each value with a comma (for example, heim,masters).
User Domain Enter the name of the user's domain (for example, development). You can enter up to 1,024 characters and this field is case-sensitive. To enter multiple values, separate each value with a comma (for example, development,business).
Computer Enter the name of the computer (for example, leghorn). You can enter up to 1,024 characters and this field is case-sensitive. To enter multiple values, separate each value with a comma (for example, leghorn,roadrunner).
Account Name Enter the name of the account. This is available for User Accounts, Global Group, and some Password activities. You can enter up to 1,024 characters and this field is case-sensitive. To enter multiple values, separate each value with a comma (for example, heim,masters).
