MIDI Control
Overview
The MIDI learn windows allow you to assign any MIDI command to one of SawCutter's parameters. The type of MIDI command and the channel of the MIDI command is displayed at the top of the window. Depending on the last MIDI message received one of three windows will appear:
To display the MIDI learn window you may either select Learn under the MIDI menu or left click on the MIDI display (1).

Features
1. MIDI Learn Display - Displays the last MIDI message received.
- Left click - Display MIDI learn window for last MIDI message.
2. Instrument Selection - Select which instrument the MIDI command will affect. If "C" is selected, the instrument that is currently selected will be used.
- Left click - Select which instrument the MIDI command will affect.
3. MIDI Devices - Turn MIDI devices on and off. A MIDI device may only be used by one application at a time.
- Left click - Turn the MIDI device on and off.
4. Close - Close window.
- Left click - Close window.
5. Parameter Selection - Select a parameter for the button/CC/key to control. Only one parameter may be selected at a time.
- Left click - Select a parameter for the button/CC/key to control.
6. Range of Continuous Controller - Control the range of the continuous controller relative to the SawCutter parameter. It is possible to have the CC and SawCutter parameter vary inversely from each other (red display.)
- Left click - Adjust the range of the CC.
7. Velocity Control - Turn velocity control on and off. If velocity control is turned off SawCutter ignores incoming velocity values.
- Left click - Turn velocity on and off
