Nano programs and their importance
Nano programs are programs that instruct your available nanobots to perform a variety of actions that, in most cases, benefit you and your fellow players - and harm monsters. Nanobots are molecular-sized machines that exist in billions on Rubi-Ka, creating and doing many wonderous things.
To upload a nano program to your nano containment unit's(NCU) passive storage (i.e. learn how to use that particular program), right-click the nano crystal in your inventory. You can purchase new nano crystals from vendors and shop machines. Make sure that you only purchase programs suited for your profession and your skill levels (SHIFT + left-click a program to see its description). If you have the required skills and abilities, the uploaded nano crystal will transfer the nano program to your NCU. The program is then accessible from your Programs Window (see 'The programs window' section).
Nano-programs use nano-energy (see 'The stats window'), and you can only execute a program if you have enough nano-energy. To execute a program on a player or monster, target that player or monster (see 'Targeting') before you left-click the program in the Programs View.
You can attack a monster using nano-programs: to do so, target the monster, and run an attack program (if available). Combat will start as described in the combat section. However, your character will not automatically run further programs; you have to do that yourself.
To run a nano program, your character needs to stand still, and not be interrupted for as long as it takes to run the program. If you move your character, or your character is attacked, the execution of the program will be interrupted, and you have to start over.
Using the AGG/DEF slider bar also increases the speed of nano program execution. Increasing the stat called "Nano Execution Initiative" (or "NanoC. Init.") increases the speed of the execution, combining with the AGG/DEF setting to define the execution speed.
The easiest way to have access to a nano program from your GUI is to left-click on its icon, and drag it to the action bar. (See "Action Bar")
