These sliders allow for the corresponding adjustments without
sacrificing of the processing speed.
That's because the parameters are embedded into the matrix for YUV->RGB
transformation, so it does not matter for the speed whether you ask for color correction
or not.
Note that the contrast slider affects the contrast of the intensity component only,
while the color contrast is adjusted by Saturation slider.
Setting 100% will double the contrast/brightness/saturation, while setting -100% will
halve the corresponding parameter.

For example, you want to reduce the yellow tint in the source video, then you need to shift from the cell Yellow to Neutral. That is, you have to set Shift Red to negative and Shift Blue to positive.
