This application is mainly for digital camera users and serves to send digital data to the "digi" lab for the production of classic paper photographs. The whole procedure is based on several easy steps.
After creating a new order and setting the production speed, we load the digital photographs from which we wish to create classic photographs into the program and define their size and number.
In the next step we define the parameters of the cropping and gloss/matte. Furthermore, the program enables us to define the contact data and the photo lab where we will pick up our photographs.
After checking the order we can send it via the Internet to our on-line photo lab. The program also enables us to save and record orders and provides a review of processed orders.
What does ordering photographs on-line really mean?
The time when you used to go to a photo lab with a box containing cine film in order to have your photographs developed has long gone. With the incoming era of digitalisation, you can arrange everything from a comfortable chair in front of the computer.
You will be surprised how easy it is to place your order on-line in just a few minutes.

This item can be accessed from the main menu or through the "Add Photos" icon in the basic navigation. Only *.jpg and *.jpeg picture files can be inserted into this system. In the dialogue for selecting files, it is possible to choose the size and number of the photos; the same can be done for details of the photographs. It is also possible to select more files at once by using SHIFT+selected files, CTRL+selected files or CTRL+A. Selected files may also be removed by means of the "Remove Photos" icon in the basic navigation. If "!!" appears beside the picture size, this means that the size of the photographs is too small with respect to the selected size of the paper photo.
Free Length (Panorama) / Trim / White Borders
The aspect ratio of digital photographs is usually not identical with the aspect ratio of the standard formats of photographs (such as 10x15). This is why it is necessary to choose a way of adapting images to these standard formats when ordering photographs. At the Internet collection points this is called the Photograph Type.
The following standard types are offered:
"Free Length (Panorama)" (* default)
With this type, the white borders are basically cut off. This will reduce the length dimension of a photographic paper to 13.3 cm. The width remains the same. As concerns appearance, this is the optimal choice. The photograph will be smaller but its appearance will be compact and it will contain all the details.
This type is also used for panoramic photographs.
"Trim"
If you accept the fact that several millimetres will be trimmed off your photograph and if you wish to have the photograph in the 10x15 format, you can choose the "Trim" type. In this case, we will enlarge the photograph, without changing the aspect ratio, and we will trim off the top and bottom parts of the photograph so that the image covers the whole paper.
"White Borders"
Imagine that you take the photograph with an aspect ratio of 3:4 but the photographic paper has the size of 10x15. In order to obtain the entire photograph, you can choose the "White Borders" type. With this type, you will get a photograph sized 10x15 but the white borders affect the impression the photograph makes overall.
Technological Trim
Even if you choose some other photograph type than Trim, 2.5% of the original width and length will be trimmed off your photograph. This is known as Technological Trim, which is carried out in order to place the image correctly without occurrence of unexposed borders.
After clicking this button, it is necessary to read and confirm your acceptance of the General Trade Terms. The system then connects itself to the Internet so that your order can be sent to production.
Selected image formats are reduced in size during optimisation according to recommended values, and their compression level is adjusted accordingly. This option is recommended for users with slow Internet connections. Image quality may suffer during this adjustment.
