On the mobile phone:

Please enable Bluetooth.
For Ericsson phones:
Please make sure "Discoverable" is selected in the Bluetooth menu.

On the Macintosh:
|
|
Go to the "system preferences" and select "Bluetooth".

|
|
A new window appears "Bluetooth". Please select the tab "Settings".
|
|

Please make sure you have selected the options as seen in this window.
|
|
Next select "Devices". |
|
If you already see your phone listed here, please select it and press
"Delete Pairing". Now, press the button "Set Up New Device"

The Bluetooth Assistant will appear.
|
|

Please press "Continue".
|
|
Choose "Mobile Phone" in the menu.
|
|

Please press "Continue".
|
|
The software finds the selected phones |
|
Please select your Mobile Phone and press "Continue".

The Assistant will ask for a Passkey. Either the assisstant suggests a number or you can choose one for yourself.

Please press "Continue".

On the Mobile Phone: |
|
The mobile phone will ask you to enter the same Passkey.
Please do so now.
|
|
On the Macintosh: |
|
The software will ask you choose the services. Select "Access the Internet with your phone´s data connection" and "Use dial-up connection". You can select the other services as well if you need them.

Please press "Continue".

The software now asks for the details of the Internet Connection |
|
Please do NOT enter ANY data here. Mobile High Speed will take care of that later. Please just press "Continue".

The Bluetooth Pairing process is done. |
|
Please select "Quit" to close the Bluetooth Assistant. You can Quit the System Preferences as well.

For Nokia phones:
Nokia phones will actually tell you that the connection is terminated - this is all right and this is no error message.
For Ericsson phones:
Ericsson phones do need a few minutes to be ready for an Internetconnection after the pairing process.
Please wait till the item in the menubar looks black like this again:
