VShopping Manual

The idea of VShopping program is to make the ordinary home shopping easier, faster and more organized.

It aims to:

Maintain an universal shopping list for all the stores
Help you to choose the optimal store
The best price for the same item
Reduce the time spent searching for an item in the store

Kikstart

When started the program shows this window:	Tap MENU or VShopping title and you'll get this
Now it's possible to create a simple list. Just add items one by one, ignoring all the fields except of Item name	You can go shopping with this list. Items will hide when completed. Check Show Completed to see all the Items available.

Add items to stores

To use more options you have to add stores	Only store name is required
Now you can associate items with relevant stores, or add new items into existing stores. All the fields are available.	When you choose a store from the list only relevant to this store items will be displayed. Button "All" switches to the common list.

Main screen options

Quantity, Price, Taxes

When entering a new item or editing existing one you may fill the quantity, price and taxes fields.
When you select a store from the list, those fields are used in main screen as follows:

Third column of the table is Quantity
Forth column is Quantity * Price Per Unit * (1 + Taxes / 100)

The program recalculates price per unit when an item is entered first time or updated.

On the program's main screen you can:

Update the name of an item
Update the quantity to buy
Find an item by its name or any part of it
Show or hide completed items
View the total for all visible now items

Sorting, finding and arranging items

Find field looks for any part of the word
and finds first match.

Program can sort the shopping list by
Name, Category, Shelf and price.

Finding the best store

Program evaluates stores in the next way:

Choose the store with the maximum number of uncompleted items
If there is more then one - choose one with the minimal total sum of uncompleted items.

Miscellaneous

Show Bar Code - shows the Bar Code for a selected item. It's the best way to define an item precisely.
