Coming from the "This Space Left Blank" Department, Lockergnomaniac Alparslan Arslan discovers a way to fill a document quickly. "My report needs to be 100,000 words long. Jeez... how could anyone write that much about a pelican? I'd prefer to be brief." While this trick won't get you out of an assignment, it'll... do something else. On a fresh line, type: "=rand(200,99)" (sans quotes) and tap the ENTER key. Suddenly, your screen will fill with 200 sets of 99 instances of "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog." Why? I don't know. It's a function that carries virtually no functionality. Change the numbers and the output will be impacted accordingly. Like I said, useless... but something that ought to impress your parents. Hungry for a little more Word trivia? Take a look at the Print Preview option (found in the "File" menu). You're human, you're bund to make a mistake now and again. "Ah... looks like I typed that incorrectly." Don't exit out of the preview screen! Just click the Magnifier icon in the toolbar and your cursor should change into an i beam. At this point, you can do a little editing (on-the-fly) before printing.
