Does everything have to be drag & drop with you? C'mon, let's step outside the box for a brief moment. The most useful keyboard shortcuts in the world are CTRL+X, CTRL+C, and CTRL+V (cut, copy, paste). You can use them virtually anywhere to manipulate textual information as well as objects (files & folders). You don't need to open two Explorer windows to copy/move files from one folder to another, just use your electronic glue stick. Select the files/folders you wish to copy/move, then copy or cut them to the clipboard. Navigate to their destination folder, and then paste. When in the middle of this operation, don't cut/copy anything else until you've confirmed they've been pasted where they should be.
